What is Nexpense?
Nexpense is an AI-powered expense tracker that helps you quickly record expenses, income, and recurring payments using natural voice or text input.
How does AI processing work?
When you use AI features, the text or voice input required to process your request is sent securely to our server and to our AI provider for processing. Requests may be retained temporarily for processing, debugging, and service improvement, and are deleted according to our Privacy Policy.
How do I delete my account and data?
Open Nexpense -> Settings -> Delete Account / Erase All Data. This permanently deletes your Nexpense account data from our systems.
How do I delete transactions in a list or category?
Go to Settings -> Lists or Settings -> Categories, select the list or category, and choose the delete option. Depending on what you delete, Nexpense may also ask how related transactions should be handled.
Can I transfer transactions from one list to another?
Yes. Open the list, tap Transfer Transactions, then select the list you want to transfer the transactions to.
How do I manage or cancel my subscription?
Subscriptions are managed through your Apple ID. Open iPhone Settings -> Apple ID -> Subscriptions -> Nexpense. From there, you can manage, cancel, or review your subscription.
Why are locations attached to transactions?
Nexpense may attach locations to transactions so future map-based features can show where you spend money and how much you spend in different places. Location data is only used to improve your personal expense tracking experience.
I do not like the icon that AI selected for a transaction or category. What can I do?
Tap the icon and select a different icon that better matches your transaction or category.
The AI answer about my finances seems inaccurate. What should I do?
Please contact us at support@nexpense.app and include the question you asked, the AI response you received, and what you expected instead, if possible. We continuously improve Nexpense and use this feedback to make AI results more reliable and useful.
I accidentally deleted Nexpense. Is my data lost?
If you had iCloud sync enabled, your data should sync back after reinstalling the app. Install Nexpense again, open the app, and wait for iCloud to finish syncing. Depending on your connection and the amount of data, this may take some time.
I cannot import my CSV file. What should I do?
Nexpense requires CSV files to follow the Nexpense import format. To see the correct structure, export a CSV from Nexpense once and use it as a template. Then adjust your existing CSV file to match that format before importing it again. You may also use an AI assistant or spreadsheet tool to convert your data into the correct Nexpense format.
